what would you think if you found a charge on your husbands charge card for a “singles dating service”?
Found the charge, called up to verify & was told that it was for a one month access for “phone” line not internet. Confronted him, he denied. This was one week before his 49th birthday.
Obviously nobody on this forum would know your husband’s exact circumstances but is it not possible that his identity was stolen and the thief used the card on that dating service among other places?
You called and verified from the company that the account was opened in his name. Maybe you can also check your house/cell phone records to see if your husband ever used those phones to actually call the dating service?
There is yet another “innocent” possibility. I am sure you have gotten junk emails that claim they can give you $500 gift card or a new iPod (or whatever the “in” product is) just for signing up for and trying various products. I’ve done a couple of those “offers” and sometimes they involve signing up for stuff you would never actually use … and this website can be one of those.
